Are you guys allowed to give an idea of how far into making the film you are? Like for example, half-way finished it, 1/4 finished it, 3/4 finished, 90% finished, nearly finished, almost finished, still alot to go,etc. ?

If so, how far along are you guys?

Sorry if I sound pushy. I'm just trying to get a general idea if it will still be quite awhile to wait for the release of the movie or not.

Thanks.

It's going to be a while. I don't give actual numbers because of how difficult it is to actually come up with them (how much percentage of the film is inking vs how much is background vs how much is animation?)

Hello. I love the idea you are doing. I read the background novel twice, where Janus and shadow become friends. Is it close to being finished. When is the tentative release date.

Like Uzuri said above, it's impossible to give actual dates or numbers at this point.

we can't say how long it's going to be because none of us know ourselves. we're looking for background artists currently, so if you know anybody who can do backgrounds and might want to volunteer, please send them our way!

Hello. I am a big fan of this series as I dearly love wolves. I have read the prequel book. I am an environmental studies graduate or scholar of ecology and I hope to work with real wolves one day. What is the status of the movie now? When is it expected to release?

If you want inspiration about animation about wolves, check out wolf children, wolf's rain, or alpha and Omega. They are great films.

Thanks for checking in and the motivational recommendations! We are nowhere near a release, as in, even if we got a lot more people helping out in all the areas where we need help, it would still take at least 1-2 years (remember that animated movies of this quality normally take professional studios 2-3 years to do, and they have hundreds of people working full time). At our current pace, we have no ETA and we don't even discuss it internally because that effort is better spent on doing work for the movie

This is definitely a time when the "slowly but surely" applies. I am always seeing work done on this thing- it's just such a small crew and such a big endeavor.
