Competition

Post by Peacefulwolf » Fri Sep 10, 2010 11:31 am

I was watching tv when a commercial came up talking about a wolf movie coming out to theaters September 17 2010. The movie is called Alpha and Omega, just saying that staff has some competition.

Alpha and Omega isn't competition; It's a junky summer buddy movie. Just because it has wolves in it doesn't mean it's the same movie, or even the same genre.

Anyway, we're not coming out this year or really any time soon, nor will we probably be coming out in theatres, so even if they were similar types of movies there'd be no real competition. We move in totally different circles here.

Eah, I've been asked at school about this to many times at school with people sayid "Hey your Wolf movie is coming out eh?" NO NO NO! and it's not going to be competition with us... Let me just say, that our wolves look like wolves and not some animal with a hairdo and skinny legs. Out story plot is totally diffrent to... It's not about some wolf pack that all the males have a "crush" the "alpha hottie" and the outcast gets caught with her and he has strong feeligs for her. Our characters won't he THAT anthro :P You can get more info and "our insight" about the film in the Animation board xD we arent to excited about it xD
I'm a colorist for "Wolf" cuz it's sooooo much FUN!!!!

I don't think not conveying reality about wolves is a fault in this movie...it just looks badly written. I am all for exaggerated and design-y when it's done well

For being such a awful film for some reason they've decided to nominate it for an academy award.. i dunno what in but i thought it was on the list. I might be mistaken, though. A little off topic ,but i thought someone might be interested.

For the animation category, maybe? Very few choices in that cat this year, I think.

Those hairdos on the wolves in A&O are so doofy.

I gave it a watch too not so long ago, just to give it a fair chance, but it was every bit as cheap, cliché-ridden and crummy as I thought it would be.

This is truly a bad film, every category :razz2:
