What is the status of the movie so far?

Post by crypticwolf » Fri Jan 21, 2011 2:00 am

How things are coming along? I would love to see this movie completed someday. I am studying art and animation as a second career, and I am trying to learn as much as I can about traditional animation.

Animation's chugging along pretty fast at the moment; ink has kinda stalled out. There's still a long way to go.

Well I talked to a staffer on the current progress on the film thus far. I will not name her since she is highly territorial and will bite my knee caps if I'm too talkative. So I will have to be careful how I word things.

Basically after a redesign effort that went stale, several packets had to be sent back for reprocessing that didn't quite make it. Instead the packets got reverse siphoned in a xerox machine where they got jammed and ruined. Whatever survived was quickly launched from the machine seconds later into the toilet where they soaked up water for about an hour or so. After about 2 more weeks of retracing the surviving prints, the email program they used malfunctioned causing all the frames to be skewed at odd angles. This caused the Wolfmovie Server to crash multiple times and catch fire. After a bunch of phone calls, it was determined they sent the folder from a Mac to Linux. Incidentally this was why Janus seemed taller in every shot. When combined with a typo that made the whole redesign pointless, the staff took a short break and will resume in about a week to clear their chi.

So that pretty much covers it. :razz2:

It was an early April fools joke. :razz2: Though I think I failed in the humor department.

I got it. That's why I didn't comment until someone else acted confused XD
