Hi there. My name is Gerry.
I'm an aspiring animator and artist studying animation at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology. I've recently got through my first year and moving on to the next year after the summer. I'm interested in working on this intriguing feature film project as an inker and colorist. I enjoy the concept and the story behind it, as well as the characters and artwork for the film so far. I'd like to use this project to build up my portfolio and improve upon my skills for the future.

Anyone in the team got the email I sent recently yet? I did the tests for both positions to prove my worth.

I do have my own views on the project that given the chance I would share with you. I hope I'll be of a lot of help to this project, and I wish you all the best of luck!

Thank you! :cheese:

Nice to meet you! I hope you get accepted! Uzuri may take a day or two to reply to emails, but welcome!

Hello, welcome to the forum!

I've heard that Ireland has a pretty good animation industry; though The Secret of Kells is the only movie that I've seen that was made there (except for some of Don Bluth's films).

Thanks, guys! I hope so too. I'd love to be apart of this project as well.

I'm also apart of the teams of Cinerassic Productions working with them (as an assistant animator) on their fan-series adaptation of the lost game "Dinosaur Planet" (http://www.dpfanseries.webs.com/), and on two short film projects on Artella called "Freedom Train" (as a character expression artist) and "Nemi" (as a clean-up/final-line artist). I'm doing all this to build upon my portfolio, you see.

I'm also hoping to start working online with Studio Yotta (http://www.studioyotta.com) by next month, spending the summer learning about the team and their studio's agenda, as well as studying the basics of animation before my animation course after the summer. And throughout my animation course (and possibly, career in general), I'll continue on working with them on many exciting high-profile projects.

It looks like I have a lot in my belt, but not exactly. I don't have much work to do on these projects just yet. I'm waiting patiently to start assist-animating on the "Dinosaur Planet" fan-series. In the meantime, I am given some work to do on "Freedom Train" and "Nemi" at the moment.

I also have a DeviantArt, where I have uploaded my artwork from 2014.
