Dawgtown

Post by Audrey » Mon Feb 09, 2015 9:31 pm

I just found out about this one... looks like an interesting independent animated film in the works. The plot intrigues me since it follows a similar plot to a comic I had in my head years ago--group of dogs fighting to escape a dog fighting ring.

Interesting! Looks like they're still in the storyboarding stage. I couldn't tell if it's also a volunteer project like Wolf is?
This is not the inker you are looking for.

Legacy Animaton Studios is a production house founded by about 2 dozen ex-Disney animators in 2004; they supposedly had closed down around 2013 but it's great to see them back. Off Center Pictures appears to be a publicly traded company, I found results in investment websites. The Writer/Producer/Director, Justin Murphy, has quite the resume https://www.linkedin.com/pub/justin-murphy/81/998/839 . So I would say this is the exact opposite of volunteer work :D

As for the movie, it looks great and I can't wait to see it. Too bad their website is being too slow to watch their videos.

Definetly looks intriguing to say the least... too bad the video's won't work for me. XP

The first one's a broken link; the others work for me.

Interesting concept :) I'll be curious to follow this out.

The first link works for me, maybe the site was down when you visited. They definitely don't have a fast server.

Should have been more specific -- the first VIDEO link is broken :) Both links in this thread work.

Wow, I hadn't thought about Legacy Studios in a long time. Interesting idea for a movie.
