Zootopia

Anyone else real excited about this one? I think it's the first time I've been enthusiastic about a Disney film in a long, long time. Love the take on some really timely issues, it doesn't seem like Disney's ducking anything at all with this one.

And it's anthro. I mean come on :)

I read a few - I guess you could call them disgruntled fan - comments saying thst they didn't like it but I also have seen a lot of fanart. I guess I'll just have to judge for myself :) I don't see how it could be worse than Frozen after all lol.

looking forward to this a lot, and it's even better because my local furry group is going to see it together, and we got permission for a number of people to fursuit in the lobby for 2 hours before the movie starts!

Interested to hear what the critique is -- not that I don't believe there is any, just that I'm curious as to what people don't like :)

I'm VERY excited, as Rotten Tomatoes holds 100% rating on it, which is rare enough. I am hearing amazing things from it so far.

One of my professors commented it was genuinely one of the best movies he has ever seen. This sounds hopeful.

Saw it yesterday with my family, totally rocks. great story and great animation. I'm leaving in a few minutes to see it again with the local furries.

*chews the woodwork*

Grrr... I want to go see it, but I HATE seeing movies in a full theater. Not sure I'm going to survive the wait on this one.

I LOVE theaters, but I understand where you're coming from. I've been to movies where I can't even remember what happened in the movie because the audience was just ridiculously obnoxious. Plus, it can be a little embarrassing with kids movies.... and loud... Luckily for me, I went with a large group of people (The school Fur club, actually) and it was just mostly other students in the theater, so it wasn't too bad.

We went on a Friday night in a big city so there were no kids. There was a row of furries in front of us but they weren't being annoying.

Just got home and wow I don't know why I was so skeptical?!? This movie was amazing and I loved it. 12/10 Best Disney film released in a while now. I guess I was not getting my hopes up in case it was bad but wow I loved it. My whole family did.
