When I use Microsoft Paint I have to erase all the white from the paper then colour it. It takes like three hours and it's VERY annoying! So how you get past that part quicker?

Yeah, gotta agree with that. Get yourself Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop Elements (both relatively inexpensive) and learn how to use layers. It'll help.
Zib, go suffer for your art.

Wait. 20 and 20 and 20 is not 50!

Cheaper. Fewer features.

Elements is generally good enough for the hobbiest but not the professional, that sort of thing.

i'm not a fan of PS. I have PS CS, but in general there are a ton of features that you will never use. Its a huge program that is very slow unless you have a beast of a computer. I stick to open canvas. In my opinion, it's the same thing but works way faster. (and is cheaper)
