Thireador finally got its restart... rewrote the beginning as well as created new pages. I have received lots of feedback on the page itself, and I would like to see if anyone here had more to add, especially about how the backgrounds look, and on Matilda (the girl):

http://koeyohte.deviantart.com/#/d2vdsi7
I really like how she looks in the fourth frame - probably the most on model she's been ^^

http://koeyohte.deviantart.com/#/d2vi09u
I really, really dislike her anime-ish look throughout this page D: I was unable to avoid it this day though... any tips?

Also, please feel free to critique the pacing. That's a major issue for me right now. Also part of the reason I keep stalling on drawing the new pages. I fear I will move to fast, and leave readers without a sense as to what is really going on. But then I don't want to bore them with excsessive "mption" panels as opposed to action and dialogue.

The comic in general is entirely an experiment. So any feedback, crits, suggestions, feel free to say!! No matter what it is :)

Ooo, I love the color on the horse.

Wish I still had time... and the place... to paint.

Thanks Uzuri!

The funny thing is that I sorta don't have these either. I would paint this one for less than an hour a week... hence the long time it took. Now I'm gonna be so busy that I probably won't have time to paint with oils at all till the end of the year.

Oh and I'm just lucky that there's an art studio next to my house and I'm allowed by the owner to paint there sometimes. If that changes, I'll be screwed XD

Amazing once again. I was having a little debate with my housemate about acrylic vs. oils - he loves using oils but I just can't get the hang of it, and much prefer using acrylics. I guess it's that I don't see the benefit oils have over acrylic, there's just hassle of cleaning and waiting for it to dry :P I can't believe it but I actually kinda miss painting, maybe I should get my paints out again...

Thank you for the comment Styg :)

And to be honest I'll say acrilics are one of the few mediums I never tried... I probably should though. Oils do take a while to dry... and talk about hassle of cleaning >_>

there's no beating oils for richness though, it's like painting with caramel.

I personally love how they smell and feel and look much better than Acrylics. They ARE harder to work with though.

hehe I'm no good in humans but from looking at it I think you can fix the animeish style by moving the nose up. Just try it and see what happens :) in the first page she looks a bit wolf-ish, but I don't know how you can fix that other than to pracite looking at human models more. Other than that it looks great so far! Haha you cheat with the text xD
I'm a colorist for "Wolf" cuz it's sooooo much FUN!!!!

I just wanted to do a character rotation to show to some friends of mine, but since I don't do them much, I thought I'd ask here for some feedback, if possible. Any critiques would be welcome :D

Oh, and don't mind the boring actual design, that's just me being on a "non creative" mood :/

You need to drag Marj over her, she's our char design guru XD

I'm not as good, so the only thing I can spot is that you want to be very careful of your midline, and of symmetry -- your back view is leaning. I think the front may be a little, too, but I'd have to get out a square to check XD

Thanks Uzuri, I"ll check that!

Well, not way too bad for a second finished rotation ever XD

But Marj will hit me with her evil vertical axis
