Janus and the moon

Post by Grey_Wolf » Tue Aug 04, 2009 11:38 am

Today I found this old fanart I did for Wolf at some point last year. I don't really like it anymore, but I thought It'd be fun to share

Woah! I love the roughness of the rocks, they do remind me very much of Tarkah's work :) Great colors, and the general layout is great :)

I like it, it's very peaceful. :-)

Thanks everyone! :D

And koey... when I did this I was totally inspired by Tarkah's works for Wolf (and I still am - they were the reason I started to try to paint/draw backgrounds in the first place) so that's probably why it reminds you of her background works :)

SilverLuna - Thanks, the sky is one of my favourite parts too!

ckat13 - Thank you. I remember the basic feelings I wanted to convey with this were peace and serenity. Glad you liked it :)

Wow, this is beautiful! A really interesting atmosphere -- the lighting on the rocks is lovely, and the linework on Janus gives him a sort of mysterious wavering look. Makes me feel as if I'm standing behind him, shivering and reaching for a jacket.
Do you lie awake at night because you fear being found out? Or is it because you know some day you'll have to face up to that what you are doing is wrong?
