If you haven't found out about this yet now you will. Lonesome George the very last Giant Galapagos Tortoise has died at the age of 100. :sad: The species is now extinct. This is a reminder of how fragile the Earth is and how desperately we need to take care of it.

Sad. I shall never see a Galapagos Tortoise. They were one of the most well known species on the Galapagos Islands.
We do need to keep things such as this from happening. Nature is very fragile...
