Some jackwagon just came to our street, dropped off a dog, and sped off! She's only a puppy, and not able to fend for herself. i am providing temporary shelter until a home is found.
aaargh! people are so cruel and ignorant! thank goodness there are people that care. will give updates

That's how we got our cat.

At least most folks just drop 'em, and don't throw them in the river in a bag of rocks anymore, as was pretty common back in the day. It's awful to think it, but we're actually slowly improving overall, hard as it may be to believe.

Ahhh! Poor puppy! :starsad: I hate when people do that! :grrr2: At least you were there to help it. My cat was also dropped off with her brother. At least the original owners had the heart to take her to a shelter and drop her there. Good luck on your search for the puppy's home.

Thank goodness they don't do that any more. pups are much too innocent for that.
Thanks for the good luck, though Lizzie should find a home soon. She's a beagle mix, and her tail never stops wagging. She will happily greet any stranger!

Ah, it was quite bittersweet, but we found Lizzie a good home with a close friend, much sooner than expected. The new owners had a dog pass away three years ago, and did not get another until now. They're going to spoil her! as they left, they promised to stop by petsmart right away! we get to visit her too, of course!

Yay! She has a home! I love beagles so much. How could somebody ever drop them like that!? Well I'm sure she will remember you for the rest of her life as the one who saved her! At least now she will be pampered and loved by true owners.
