Hi there, and welcome!

I'm another lax staffer; life has been pulling me down for the past couple years it seems, between sicknesses and work and trying to move, who is currently one of the animators of human characters (I almost put that I was a human animator, but that's a given . . . or is it  ).

Low frame rates bother me as well. Honestly, bad or choppy animation pulls me out of the story faster than anything else. But works that have strong key poses and a low frame rate (like Chuck Jones stuff) are more enjoyable for me than the other way around. Of course I would prefer to have both strong keys and a high frame rate. :cheese:

Thanks for seconding Marji. :) When I get a moment I have to check things out.

Hi FreckledOne!

I can barely draw humans, much less animate them, so props to you, lax or not.

I've got nothing against Chuck Jones, though the version he did of "Mowgli's Brothers" I really don't care for the style of the wolves. It IS my favorite version so far though. I've seen way too many versions of the Jungle Book. (Not Disney's remake yet though.)

Hi Ash ^^

I know it's not Ghibli )but it is an animated film from Japan), have you seen Your Name yet? I just saw it yesterday and I really enjoyed it.

So you're working on a movie too? based on your own work? That's awesome! I'm trying to do some projects on my own to make myself a new voice demo reel.

Hi Ckatmyla!

I haven't really seen anything recently outside "The Lion Guard". I've been swamped it feels like between Camp NaNoWriMo and the movie project too. "The Windwater Pack" is based on my work but its an adaption for sure. Then again when I finally get to see the script again I'll be rewriting the story to match (at least in book form) so. :)

That's cool! Good luck, I hope all artists get some recognition this year.
