For us Brits.

Friday 18th, 8pm on Channel Five is a documentary about a man who intergrates himself into a wolf pack for two years learning about how they comminicate, react and what makes them tick.

So bloody excited!!!! :cheese:

Yes! I saw an ad in the TV times the other day and said to myself: YES! I'M WATCHING THIS!!! If it's a good program (I've been let down by five before) it should be interesting and fun, too. PS: these wolves live about an hour's drive from me!!
Do you lie awake at night because you fear being found out? Or is it because you know some day you'll have to face up to that what you are doing is wrong?

Wow... that was pretty inspiring. I mean, at first I thought it a bit odd that he would live with a captive wolf pack, so he wouldn't really be seeing how wild wolves live. But it was still really amazing. I wish they would have concentrated more on the actual how the ranking worked out between the three wolves, we just got back to them and suddenly Yana was alpha, we didn't see how he'd managed it or anything. The bit in Poland seemed a bit pointless. Some of it was totally gross, like taking out the liver of the carcass, but I suppose it was all in the name of research. =)

What I liked about it (amongst other things) was that when he was helping the Polish farmer they weren't biased at all. For example, they didn't go on about "evil, pesky wolves" and neither did they write off the farmer as an old fart who wanted more money and kills wildlife for his advantage. I find such prejudices very unfair.

I LOVED THAT PROGRAM!!!!

Tamaska looked just as cute on TV as he does at the park, I love Tamaska, he's my fave.

Shaun is cool, I talked to him for ages when I went there, he let me hold one the newer pups, they'll be big by now, they were only a few weeks old when I saw them, TJ was the temporary name for him.

If any of you get the chance you should definately go to Combe Martin Wildlife Park, there's a good wolf "shack" there where you talk with Shaun and get tons of info and plenty of merchandise too.

~~Edit~~

Here's Shaun's site WolfPack Management , check it out!
