Two other poems...

The Spirit of the Wolf:

As the toil of the day withers away
and night decends upon the land
One animal views night as Day.
Braodcasting an errie chorus through the night
As I listen, and listen well
It seems that only I can tell.
Across the vast distance goes not only thier song
But also thier spirit... the Spirit of the Wolf.

Arctic Heart:

One place, constantly covered in a blanket of white
Is a place of incredible beauty and cold nights.
Never a summer, never a thaw
It would seem such a place would always be raw
But life has no limits, living even here.
Although without warmth nothing could be near.
Though be warned only the strong survive there.
No room for loss, not even a hair.
So what could be this place of which I speak?
Well my Friend, such is the Arctic, at the earth's peak...
